Eastern Shore Crab Cakes
Ingredients
- 1 pound crab meat
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- 1 egg
- 1/4 pound butter
- 1 T lemon juice
- 1 egg, hard boiled
- 1 T Worcestershire sauce
- bread crumbs
Instructions
Yield: 12 servings. Put crab meat in a bowl and season to taste with salt and pepper. Add slightly beaten egg, melted butter, lemon juice, cut-up hard-boiled egg, and Worcester sauce. Then add just enough soft bread crumbs to make it into cakes (2 or 3 slices of bread). Pan-fry the cakes a golden brown.
