Scallops

Ingredients

  • 1 pound scallops
  • Juice from 1 lemon
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1-2 garlic cloves very finely minced
  • Fresh bread crumbs, toasted, about 1/2 cup

Instructions

Rinse scallops under cold water to remove all of the sand. Boil in fresh water until half cooked, about 2-3 minutes. Drain and place in a small oven proof casserole. Saute the garlic in the butter until just soft, do not let the butter brown. Mix in the lemon juice and pour over the scallops. Top the scallops with the bread crumbs and bake 350F for 10 minutes.
