Scampi

Ingredients

  • 2 pound unpeeled jumbo fresh shrimp
  • 1 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • 1/2 teaspoon steak sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
  • Hot cooked fettuccine
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

Yield: 4 to 6 servings.. Peel and devein shrimp. Cook onion and garlic in butter in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly, 4 minutes; add lemon juice and next 4 ingredients. Bring to a boil; add shrimp, and cook, stirring constantly, 3 to 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink. Serve over fettuccine. Sprinkle with parsley.
