Scampi Alla Veneziana
Ingredients
- 1 pound (500g) fresh prawns
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/2 cup (125ml) olive oil
- 2 very fresh lemons, cut into wedges
Instructions
(Prawns Venetian Style). Cook prawns and bay leaf in boiling water for 3 minutes only. Discard bay leaf. Shell and devein prawns, leaving the tails. Chill. Serving the prawns in a good looking clear or white bowl nestled in crushed ice makes a nice show at the table. Offer each person their individual small bowl of olive oil and lemon wedges. Serves 4
