Ingredients

  • 2 pound red-skin or golden potatoes, peeled, cut in large chunks
  • 1 can sweet peas, drained
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
     
  2. Add potatoes and cook until tender, about 15 minutes; drain and return to the pot.
     
  3. Purée the peas. Purée in a food processor until completely smooth.
     
  4. Mash potatoes with a potato masher or ricer.
     
  5. Mix in puréed peas and remaining ingredients.
     
  6. Warm over medium heat, stirring constantly.
