Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground Italian sausage
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 can (14 oz) chicken broth
  • 1 (15-ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed
  • 2 can (14.5 oz) Italian stewed tomatoes
  • 2 cup fresh baby spinach

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat simmer (stirring frequently) sausage, onion and garlic until fully cooked.

  2. Add mixture to 6 qt slow cooker insert followed by remaining ingredients, less spinach.

  3. Cover and cook on high for 2 hours.

  4. Just before serving add spinach leaves and stir until wilted.
