Minestrone Hamburger Soup
There are a variety of Minestrone soup recipes out there, but none compare to the hearty bowl of our traditional Minestrone Hamburger Soup. Made with a variety of fresh vegetables in the slow cooker, the overall flavor of the soup is simply mouthwatering. Keep warm and well fed with this wonderful bowl of comfort and joy. Soups on!

Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef, browned and drained
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 2 carrots, peeled and sliced
- 2 celery stalks, sliced
- 1 can tomatoes, cut-up
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 bay leaf
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- Grated mozzarella or parmesan cheese
- beef broth to cover ingredients. (about 4 cups)
Instructions

Place all ingredients except cheese in slow cooker; stir thoroughly.

Add water to cover. Cover and cook on LOW setting for 8 to 12 hours. {Or on HIGH setting for 3 to 5 hours.}
- Stir well. Serve sprinkled with cheese.
