- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup small onion, diced
- 1 cup carrot, julienned
- 1 cup celery stalks, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 can (about 14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (about 15 ounces) red kidney beans, undrained
- 1 can (about 15 ounces) great northern beans, undrained
- 1 can (about 15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1 can (about 12 ounces) tomato juice
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 pound ditali pasta
Instructions
- In a small frying pan, brown the ground beef until cooked.
- Place beef in the slow cooker, then add onion, carrot, celery, garlic, tomatoes, kidney beans, northern beans, tomato sauce, tomato juice, vinegar, salt, oregano, basil, pepper, thyme, and pasta. Place on the low setting and let cook for 6 to 8 hours, or until everything is heated and liquid is bubbling.
