Homemade Garlic Parmesan Rolls
"I have always been a lover of bread. Like I love bread! I could seriously eat bread all day long for every meal. When I got married several years ago, I really wanted to learn how to make easy dinner rolls but didn’t know where to start, like I was such a beginner never making a bread before in my life. So I searched the internet and found this classic dinner roll recipe on the Fleischmann’s® RapidRise® Yeast site that seemed to be so easy and quick to make!"

Easy Garlic Parmesan Rolls:
-
In a large mixing bowl, add ¾ cup of flour, sugar, Fleischmann’s® RapidRise yeast, salt, and garlic. Stir to blend this together.
-
In a small microwave-safe bowl, add the milk, water, and butter. Microwave on HIGH in 15-second increments. You will want this to be very warm, but not hot! The butter will not be 100% melted and that is okay.
-
You want to make sure that this mixture reaches between 120 ̊F-130 ̊F because anything hotter will kill the yeast. It is best to check this with a thermometer.
-
Once you have the mixture to a temperature between 120 ̊F-130 ̊F you will then add it to the flour mixture.
-
With an electric mixer, beat together the dry mixture and the wet mixture on medium speed. Be sure to scrape the bowl occasionally while mixing.
-
Add ¼ cup of flour and beat for another 2 minutes on high speed
-
Continue to stir in a ¼ cup of flour at a time of the remaining flour (1 to 1 ¼ cups) until the dough forms a ball.
-
Next, sprinkle your counter with flour and knead the dough until it is smooth and elastic and springs back when pressed. This will take about 6 to 8 minutes. To see if the dough is ready lightly press 2 fingers into the dough if it bounces back then it is ready to rest.
-
Cover your dough with a towel and let rest for 10 minutes.
-
Once the dough has risen, cut the dough into 12 equal pieces.
-
Then, take these pieces and shape them into round balls with your hands.
-
Grease an 8 inch round pan and place your dough balls in the pan.
-
Place your pan in a warm area and cover with a towel and let the dough rise for about 30 minutes, or double in size.
-
Once your garlic Parmesan rolls have doubled in size, preheat the oven to 375ºF and cook for 20 minutes or golden brown.
-
Remove and let sit on a cooling rack in the pan.
-
Butter Topping:
-
While the garlic Parmesan bread is rising, grab a bowl and mix together melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley.
-
Once the rolls have been removed from the oven brush or drizzle the garlic herb butter onto the rolls and then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
-
Don’t separate the rolls until the butter has set on top of the rolls.
-
Once the butter has set on the garlic parmesan rolls, then remove from pan.
-
To do this, run your knife around the edge and then invert on the wire rack.
-
Once separated, you can top with additional garlic herb butter if you would like!
