Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 cup shredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • dash salt
  • dash cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cup crispy rice cereal

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
     
  2. Cream butter and flour. Add cheese, then stir in the rice cereal.
     
  3. Form into balls. Flatten with a damp fork.
     
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10 to 12 minutes (only until just barely brown on edges).
     
  5. Remove from pan to cool completely.
