Power Bars

Ingredients

  • 2 cup chocolate drink powder
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3 cup instant rolled oats
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/3 cup M&M's or peanuts

Instructions

In large heavy saucepan, combine drink powder, peanut butter, milk and butter. Heat and stir over medium heat until mixture is smooth and comes to a boil. Boil and stir constantly for 2 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in instant rolled oats and vanilla. Pat into a foil-lined, 8-inch square pan. Scatter peanuts on top and press in. Chill until firm. Cut into twelve 1x2-inch bars.
