Corn Chowder

Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon.
  • 3 tablespoons bacon grease
  • 2 - 3 diced potatoes
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 -3 ribs celery
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • salt and pepper to taste.
  • 1 15 oz can cream style corn
  • 1 15 oz milk
  • crumbled bacon.

Instructions

Dice bacon, fry until crisp and set aside. In 3 Tablespoons bacon grease, stir in diced potatoes, diced onion, ribs celery, add water, salt and pepper to taste.; Cook until soft. Then add can cream style corn and can of milk; Heat to desired temp. Dish up into soup bowls and top bowls with crumbled bacon.
