Creamy Broccoli Soup

Ingredients
- 20 ounces chopped frozen or fresh broccoli
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 4 cans chicken broth
- 4 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 4 tablespoons white flour
- 16 ounces heavy cream
- 5 tablespoons corn starch
- 3 chicken boullion cubes
- 2 teaspoons salt and pepper each
- 4 tablespoons dry minced onion
Instructions
- In a large pot, melt 3/4 of the butter add broccoli and cook until soft.
- In a 10 inch skillet melt the remaining butter and sprinkle in flour and blend with a wire wisk. Quickly add 1 cup chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, minced onion, and chicken boillion, stir well. Pour the mixture from the skillet into the pot.
- Add the remainder of chicken broth, then stir in the heavy cream. Add salt and pepper. Stir in corn starch and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
