"Looking for a healthy and tasty soup recipe? Grab a head of cabbage! This Healthy Cabbage Soup is a great way to warm up on a cold day! Cabbage is a powerhouse of a vegetable. Cabbage is low in saturated fat and cholesterol, and it’s high in fiber and vitamins. It’s a great bang for your buck when it comes to eating healthy! Winter is soup season in our house, and it also happens to be holiday detox season. This Healthy Cabbage Soup is a favorite – tasty and it won’t break the calorie tracker app. Once you’ve got all of the ingredients in the pot, just let it simmer away for 45 minutes to an hour. The cabbage will soften up during that time, and you’ll be left with a tasty pot of soup! Like all soups, this one will taste better on Day #2. In fact, when we make this soup, we don’t eat it fresh. Instead we let it cool and send it off to the fridge overnight."
