Italian Sausage Tortellini Soup

Ingredients
- 4 cans (14 1/2-ounce) beef broth
- 7 cups water
- 1 pound cooked sweet Italian sausage, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 (9-ounce) box tortellini
- 1 (9-ounce) box spinach tortellini
- 1/2 pound cabbage, shredded
- 1 small green bell pepper, cored and diced
- 1 medium zucchini, sliced
- 1 small red onion, chopped
- 1 medium tomato, diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- freshly grated Parmesan, for garnish
Instructions
- Combine broth, water, tortellini, vegetables, sausage and basil in large pot. Season with salt and pepper. Bring to slow boil over medium-high heat.
- Reduce and simmer until vegetables are tender and pasta is cooked, about 15 to 20 minutes. Serve with Parmesan.
