Zesty Taco Soup
Zesty Taco Soup is a taco soup recipe with a kick. Biting into the added Jalapeno peppers and green chilies is like jumping off a speeding train you hijacked onto your trusty mustang galloping along side. Make something wild from the wild west!
Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground meat
- 1 large onion
- 1 can Mexican corn
- 2 cans stewed tomatoes
- 2 cans pinto beans with jalapeno peppers
- 1 can green chilies
- 1 can white hominy
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 1 package ranch dressing mix
- 3 cups water
- 1 can Rotel tomatoes
Instructions
- Add onion and ground meat into a pan and cook until browned.
- Drain out the juice from the pan.
- Add meat and all other ingredients to a large pot.
- Simmer for 3 hours. Use more or less liquids for thinner/thicker soup.
