Five-Hour Beef Stew
This recipe for Five-Hour Beef Stew is completely effortless. Just put all the ingredients in a casserole, put the beef stew in the oven, and in five hours' time, you'll have a savory stew for dinner!
Ingredients
- 2 pound stew beef, cubed
- 6 carrots, cut in pieces
- 4 onions, quartered
- 1 cup celery, in pieces
- 4 potatoes, quartered
- 1 can tomatoes
- 3 tablespoon minute tapioca
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon thyme
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 250 degrees F.
- Mix everything together, including raw meat. Place in large casserole.
- Cover and cook in oven for 5 hours. Do not take lid off until done. Veggies should be left in good-sized pieces.
