Macadamia Turkey Stuffing
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup pan drippings from turkey roasting pan
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
- 3/4 cup chopped celery
- 4 cup dry bread cubes
- 1/2 cup chopped macadamia nuts
- 1/2 cup or to taste fresh diced ripe pineapple, optional
- 1 cup turkey stock (chicken is fine too)
- 2 eggs
- salt and pepper to taste
- poultry seasoning to taste, optional
Instructions
Saute onions and celery crisp tender in the turkey drippings. Stir in bread cubes, nuts and pineapple. Pour on warm stock and eggs. Season to taste. Place in casserole and cover and bake in moderate oven till well heated . Serve along with the turkey.Serves 6
