Boston Market Creamed Spinach

Boston Market Creamed Spinach is a great side dish recipe that the family will love. Even though it's spinach, the picky eaters at home won't be able to deny its rich and creamy flavor that has become a favorite of people everywhere.
Ingredients
- FOR THE WHITE SAUCE:
- 3 tablespoon butter
- 4 tablespoon flourl
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1 cup whole milk
- 20 ounce frozen cooked chopped spinach drained
- FOR THE SPINACH:
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 small onion, minced
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 (20-ounces) package of frozen spinach
- 1 cup white sauce
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
For the White Sauce:

In a saucepan melt butter over medium heat until sizzling.

Whisk in the flour and garlic salt (or white salt) until creamed together and smooth.

Stir in the milk a little at a time.

Increase heat to medium and constantly whisk until the mixture becomes thick and smooth.
- Remove from heat; set aside.
For the Spinach:

Place butter in saucepan over med heat; add minced onion, and cook until transparent.

Add spinach and water to pan, lower the heat, and cover.

Stirring several times until the spinach is cooked.When the spinach is almost done, add the prepared white sauce and sour cream.
- Stir well, and simmer until completely blended.Season with more seasoned salt or white salt if desired and black pepper.
