Ham and Collard Greens
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound collard leaves
- 3/4 pound ham hock
- 1/4 t. cayenne
- 1/2 t salt
- 1 t sugar
Instructions
Wash leaves in several changes of water. Break into smaller pieces and add ham and seasonings. Cover with 2 qts water and boil until tender. Cook over medium heat for about 1 hour.
