Homemade Unfried Fries
For a healthy version of your favorite side, try these flavorful Homemade Unfried Fries. Baked until they are golden brown with a slight crisp, you'll wonder why fries were ever fried in the first place. Potato recipes have never been so good.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pound baking potatoes, peeled and cut in strips
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- Non- stick cooking spray, for the baking sheet
Instructions
- Heat the oven to 425 degrees F.
- In a bowl toss the potatoes, cayenne and oil.
- Spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray. Place the potatoes on the sheet.
- Bake for 40 minutes turning once. Sprinkle with parsley, garlic and salt. Bake for 5 more minutes and serve.
