Homemade Unfried Fries

For a healthy version of your favorite side, try these flavorful Homemade Unfried Fries. Baked until they are golden brown with a slight crisp, you'll wonder why fries were ever fried in the first place. Potato recipes have never been so good.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pound baking potatoes, peeled and cut in strips
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 tablespoon parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • Non- stick cooking spray, for the baking sheet

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 425 degrees F.
     
  2. In a bowl toss the potatoes, cayenne and oil.
     
  3. Spray cookie sheet with non-stick spray. Place the potatoes on the sheet.
     
  4. Bake for 40 minutes turning once. Sprinkle with parsley, garlic and salt. Bake for 5 more minutes and serve.
