    Cashew Gravy

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup cashew butter
    • 2 cups water or vegetable stock
    • 2 tbsp oil
    • 2 tbsp onion, chopped
    • 2 tbsp whole wheat flour
    • 1 tbsp arrowroot flour
    • 1 teaspoon salt

    Instructions

    Blend all ingredients in a blender. Transfer to a saucepan and heat over medium flame, stirring constantly until thick. Makes 2 cups. If the gravy is too thick, dilute with water.
