Chicory Root Tea

Chicory Root Tea
"Chicory root is a special root. It's a healthy root which tastes surprisingly like coffee. That is if you roast the root pieces before brewing them. But you can also enjoy the root in their unroasted or so-called raw form. This is commonly done in central Europe, where the plant has long been used since the antique for all kinds of ailments. I have added this homemade root tea to my tea rotation and this is for you if you like teas such as chamomile, oregano, or fenugreek tea. These are all health benefitting hot teas to be enjoyed when the days are cold outside. "
