Mushroom Gravy

Ingredients

  • 1 chopped onion
  • 12 ounce chopped mushrooms
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 3 cup stock
  • flour
  • 1 bay leaf

Instructions

Carmelize the chopped onion in butter or oil. Add chopped mushrooms, and saute until they start to release water. Add wine. Simmer off the wine. Add stock. Simmer while gradually adding flour until desired consistency is achieved.
