"Olive tapenade is a spread made of olives mainly. Black or green olives are ground to a coarse or fine consistency with garlic and seasoning. I came up with a quick recipe to honor this appetizer. It's a traditional spread from southern France, and they have been making olive tapenade tapas there since ever. You can serve it up over baguette slices or with crackers as a dip. I just love it as a little snack with some bread while I'm binge watching my favorite show. The recipe has been enhanced so that you can easily make it at home from scratch. "
