Simple Bean Burgers

Ingredients

  • 29 ounce pinto beans, canned, drained
  • 60 milliliter garlic, chopped
  • 1 pinch chili powder
  • 3/4 cup cracker meal
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 handful parsley, chopped
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1/8 cup seasoned rice vinegar

Instructions

  1. In bowl, mash beans by hand or with potato masher.
     
  2. Add cracker meal, seasoned rice vinegar, chili powder and egg whites and continue to mash.
     
  3. Saute onions, garlic and parsley in olive oil for a few minutes and add to bean mix.
     
  4. When well blended, form patties and grill or pan fry until brown. Serve as you would hamburger.
