    Soybean and Chickpea Burger Mix

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup chick pea
    • 1/2 cup soy beans
    • 1/2 cup raw peanuts or sunflower kernels
    • 1/4 cup toasted sesame seeds
    • 1/2 cup rolled oats
    • 1/4 cup pea flour
    • 1 tablespoon flour
    • 1 tablespoon parsley

    Instructions

    1. Grind the first four ingredients in a food processor until it resembles bread crumbs.
       
    2. Add the remaining ingredients. This can be stored in an air-tight jar.

    To make burgers:

    1 cup burger mix (above), 1/2 cup water, 2 tsp dark soy sauce, oil.

    1. Add ingredients, apart from oil and mix well (can add extra herbs and spices if desired).
       
    2. Stand for 15 minutes.
       
    3. Cook on a moderate heat for 5 minutes each side. Cover the pan with a lid to hasten cooking.
