I live in South Africa. We have plenty of avocados here. I have always wondered about guacamole. We do make an avocado dip and I thought that guacamole was just a variation of a dip but I see that it is much more substantial. It is more an appetizer than a dip. I'm definitely going to make this and take it along to one of our sporting events with some crackers. It will be a nice 'ice breaker'.

Look at the pictures of this great recipe! Are you as hungry as I am? I love guacamole but I figured it's too hard to make. I will give it a try this weekend. I already have a bog of nacho chips on hand, and I'll make some chicken tacos, too.

I love guacamole. It always seems like such a hassle to make. My husband usually makes the guacamole. He makes home made salsa and adds it to the avocado with some jalapeno. I will have to give this a try. It seems to be on the milder side of what my husband makes.
