Cheesy and meaty are two very good words so I was intrigued by this recipe. It is very nice and seems to be a version of lasagne. I have a really good lasagna recipe that I have been perfecting over many years so not sure I would make this dish again but do give it a try because it is very good.

This recipe is a modified version of lasagna. It has black olives, and three cheeses that aren't typically used in a classic recipe (two French cheeses, and Italian fontina). With a few substitutions, this dish could be made simpler. I would use jarred spaghetti sauce, instead of homemade. Also, to replace the trio of gourmet cheeses, I would use mozzarella, parmesan, and romano. Since I like my pasta al dente, I would also drain the lasagna noodles while they were a bit underdone so that after they are baked, they will be the right consistency.
