This sounds like a fun and delicious cookie to make with the kids for Christmas. I'm wondering when it mentions to use ground mixed spice, what type of spices would you use? I'm thinking to make it very German, I'd probably use a Lebkuchen mix for the spices. Or perhaps just cinnamon and allspice. Any other combinations to use?
