Hello gmrob, You add all the items in the steps indicated and use the mixer to mix/beat the eggs as you go. You start by mixing together the butter, sugar and peanut butter, then add eggs, mix with beater. Then add flour, baking soda and salt and use a wooden or hard spoon to mix that manually, then move on to the next steps. I hope that helps. Thanks and no worries!

Hi again.....I made these cookies as was stated in the recipe and will make these again exactly the same way. These cookies came out nice and soft just like I want my peanut butter cookies to be. I will make this recipe often!

Peanut butter cookies are my favorite. This recipe looks great and I love the addition of brown sugar as well as white...yum. I am going to bake a batch of these tomorrow. Question on the recipe from a member using no flour-I would think cookies made with no flour would be crispier rather than denser? I would imagine also they would spread a lot during bake time?

Hello stevens9466, Thanks for the recipe suggestion! Would it be possible for us to go ahead and add that to our site? We can even give you a byline. It sounds like a great recipe. Thanks!

I have a recipe that's better and simpler and uses no flour. I usually double this recipe as these cookies don't stay around long. 1 cup Peanutbutter 1 cup Sugar 1 Egg (I use large or x-large) 1 teaspoon Vanilla Mix all ingredients together and place small-medium size rounded balls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each ball with either a fork in a crisscross pattern or the bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake in 325 degree preheated oven until golden brown ( approx. 10-12 min--depending typw of oven).

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have updated the recipe to correctly call for 2 teaspoons of baking soda. -RecipeLion Editors

I think they meant to list 2 teaspoons of baking soda instead of 2 cups. Otherwise, they sound delicious.
