Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 cup shortening
- 2 cups white sugar
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 4 cups flour
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 cup coconut
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 1 cup raisins
- 12 ounces chocolate chips
- 2 cups corn flakes
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
- Cream together margarine, shortening, and sugars. Add vanilla and eggs.
- Sift in the baking powder, baking soda, and flour.
- Add the pecans, coconut, oatmeal, raisins, chocolate chips, and corn flakes as desired.
- Dip with a 1/4 cup measure or ice cream scoop, 6 cookies to a baking sheet.
- Slightly flatten and bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350F degrees. When cool, cookies should be chewy, not brittle.
