    If you love roast beef sandwiches but are looking for something a little more imaginative, look no further! This slow cooker recipe for an unusual roast beef will have you wanting to eat it every week. The secret is in the pickles.

    Ingredients

    • 4 pounds boneless beef chuck roast
    • 1 16-ounce jar whole dill pickles, undrained
    • 1/2 cup chili sauce
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 10 hamburger buns, split

    Instructions

    1. Cut roast in half and place in slow cooker/Crock-Pot.
       
    2. Add pickles with juice, chili sauce, and garlic.
       
    3. Cover and cook on Low for 8-9 hours or until beef is tender.
       
    4. Discard pickles and remove roast from Crock-Pot.
       
    5. When cool enough to handle, shred the meat.
       
    6. Return to the sauce in Crock-Pot and heat through.
       
    7. Using a slotted spoon, fill each bun with about 1/2 cup meat mixture.
