    I'm always trying to improve my brownie recipe. One day I slipped in the kitchen and hit my head on the sink. When I awoke, I had a brilliant idea - peanut butter! Salty Marbled Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownies are my special invention for you. This easy brownie recipe takes the classic dessert up a whole level. The peanut butter and sea salt add a special touch that you won't be able to get enough of. The next time you need to bring a dessert to a bake sale, bring these super special brownies.

    Stir 1/4 cup peanut butter chips into batter before spreading into pan.

     

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup butter
    • 3 squares of Baker's unsweetened chocolate
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
    • 1/2 cup flour
    • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1/2 cup Planters creamy peanut butter
    • 2 teaspoons coarse season salt

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
       
    2. Microwave butter and chocolate squares in large microwaveable bowl on HIGH 1-1/2 min. or until butter is melted, stirring after 45 seconds.
       
    3. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
       
    4. Stir in sugar. Blend in eggs and vanilla.
       
    5. Add flour and cocoa powder; mix well.
       
    6. Spread onto bottom of 9-inch square pan sprayed with cooking spray. Top with small spoonfuls of peanut butter; swirl gently with knife. Sprinkle with salt.
       
    7. Bake 18 to 20 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. (Do not overbake.) Cool completely.
