My blender and food processor are two of my favorite appliances, and the two I use most often. When I saw this Cuisinart SmartPower Deluxe Duet Blender/Food Processor, I instantly knew it was an appliance I wanted in my kitchen. The two-in-one machine lets you do it all with the simple switch of attachments. Not only is this great for limited kitchen storage, but it's super convenient for blending, chopping and shredding anything you want!

Having a strong blender and food processor is essential in any kitchen, but these two appliances can take up a decent amount of space in kitchen cupboards. That's why I love this blender and food processor in one. The blender has a sleek design with a sturdy glass jar, so I wouldn't hesitate to simply leave it on my kitchen counter. Then, when I needed to chop, shred or slice, I would simply attach the food processor to quickly get the job done.

As for the machine itself, the 48-ounce blender is strong enough to handle all blending tasks, including crushing ice. The heavy-duty base is stable, so it won't "walk" on your counter when you're blending. The 3-cup food processor can easily chop pretty much any food. It also includes a reversible slicing/shredding disc, which can be used for vegetables, cheese, or anything you want to shred or slice.

I used the Cuisinart SmartPower Deluxe Duet Blender to make a smoothie, and in seconds after turning it on, my frozen berries were whipped into a smooth drink. I could think of so many different ways to use this machine. From chopping up homemade salsa, to pureeing soup, to blending up homemade hummus, and more! It's the perfect tool to use when making a recipe that requires chopping and blending - you'll hardly have to use your knife at all.

When it comes to kitchen appliances that are compact and save time and effort, this dynamic duo is one that will definitely be put to good use.
