I hate wasting time in the kitchen and I usually waste the most time chopping onions and garlic. The Microplane Garlic Cutter is a major timesaver and my new favorite tool in the kitchen drawer. The gadget allows you to mince clove after clove in just a minute or two with no stain on your hands.
This innovative gadget has a design I have never seen before. You simply place peeled garlic cloves in the top compartment and move the chamber back and forth. The cutter produces evenly minced pieces of garlic. I prefer this to the pulverized form a garlic press creates.
The unique Microplane cutter has incredibly sharp blades in both directions. This is how the garlic gets cut during the back and forth motion. The garlic goes straight from the blades into a small compartment. I love that it acts as my prep bowl. The Garlic Cutter also comes with a small scraping tool to get every last bit of garlic from the blade and into your food.
This new tool makes a fun gift for any foodie in your life. I think it is the perfect little stocking stuffer for the season, too! The tool comes in a sophisticated black or vibrant red color.
