A mandoline is a convenient kitchen tool. I don't mind chopping veggies by hand when I'm cooking a weeknight dinner. Cooking for a holiday, however, is a different story. When there are tons and tons of onions, carrots, celery, and potatoes to slice and dice, there's no denying the Swissmar V Power Mandoline will save you time in the kitchen.
 

The V Power Mandoline can make 10 different cuts - including julienne, slice, shred, and cube. And the great thing about this particular mandoline is that you don't have to remove any inserts in order to change the slice size. It's as easy as pressing a button! As someone who is very careful about blades, this is a nice advantage in my opinion.
