Layered Pizza Ole
Pizza is one of the greatest comfort foods of all time but it can also get a little boring. That's why we love this recipe for Layered Pizza Ole, a Mexican twist on the classic favorite. With refried beans, green chiles and topped with cheese, you simply can't go wrong with easy Mexican recipes like this one from our friends at La Preferida!
Notes
Italian sausage or pepperoni may be substituted for the Mexican sausage.

Ingredients
- 6 ounces La Preferida Chorizo (Mexican Sausage)
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 La Preferida 10-inch flour tortillas
- 1/2 cup La Preferida refried beans
- 1/4 cup La Preferida enchilada sauce
- 1 tablespoon La Preferida diced green chiles
- 1/4 cup shredded Muenster cheese
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Remove sausage from casing, place in skillet, crumble with fork and cook until well done; drain fat.

Brush top of one tortilla with egg. Place second tortilla on top and press together gently. Brush top of second tortilla with egg and place third tortilla on top, pressing together. Place on baking sheet.

Spread top of layered tortillas with beans, then sauce. Top with sausage, chiles and cheese.

Bake 12 minutes. Cool slightly and cut into wedges.
