Festive Christmas Meatballs
Have a holly jolly Christmas party with these Festive Christmas Meatballs! This simple meatball recipe would make a great appetizer at any of your holiday festivities.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup potato, peeled and grated
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, grated
- salt, to taste
- freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 bottle (13-ounces) Heinz Chili Sauce
- 1 jar (5-ounces) grape jelly
- dash Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl and mix well. Season with salt and pepper. Form into small meatballs.
- Brown meatballs, a few at a time, in hot skillet. If meat is very lean, wipe skillet with a thin film of olive oil.
- Blend remaining ingredients in large skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs. Cover and simmer about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Transfer meatballs to chafing dish or fondue pot. Skim excess fat from sauce. Pour sauce over meatballs. Serve warm.
