"The other day I just felt like hush puppies. I mean I felt like eating hush puppies. There is a big difference there. Now plain hush puppies were NOT appealing to me. However the thought of adding jalapenos and cheddar seemed yummy and delicious. This was the beginning of my new recipe! My what the difference that made when it came to hush puppies The spicy little sweet fried balls of love just melted in my mouth."

This is a tasty appetizers that should please any crowd. The jalapeno gives it that spicy kick and while I haven't used self raising buttermilk cornmeal before I think it's the secret ingredient that gives these hush puppies the spicy sweet taste.

Oh my goodness, they sound so yummy. I can't wait to try it. I love spicy foods and cheese is my ultimate favorite item. I love hushpuppies, but this sounds like it could be my new favorite because it has everything I love. I want to make these with some fresh caught breaded catfish. Thanks!
