It's Sunday morning, and I am going to wake the family up with the smell of donuts baking in the oven. I love that these are not fried. I feel like baking them makes them healthier. The recipe seems easy and straightforward. I'm going to fill them with a "squirt" of strawberry preserves, just for an extra little flavor.

This is like a delicious warm cinnamon roll in muffin form! My older brother, who doesn't like chocolate, would love these. I would add some cinnamon chips into the batter for a little extra texture and flavor. Not sure if they should really be called donuts but they still seem like a really delicious dessert that I'm looking forward to trying!
