My little Blueberry loving niece is going to love this Blueberry Streusel Coffee Cake when she comes to visit this week. The recipe looks like it is easy to follow, so I'm not anticipating having any problems. I love that it is layered with streusel in the middle. I think I'll go all the way and serve it as dessert with vanilla ice cream.

At first look, I thought this was a classic blueberry scone. Even though scones are delicious, this recipe is so much better! The blueberries would be great with some other mixed berries, some lemon zest, or just on their own. I agree that this would make a delicious breakfast dish like on Easter morning.

This looks absolutely incredible and I'm looking forward to baking this. I love the idea of the layer of streusel in the middle. We've managed to grow blueberries fairly successfully, though to make this up, I'd happily pick up a package or two of frozen ones. As a dessert, I think I'd opt not to use the glaze, and instead use a whipped cream topping or some good vanilla ice cream.

I am pinning this recipe. We grow blueberries and I can't wait to make this for my mother next summer. She has several blueberry bushes which provide us with many quarts of fresh fruit. This will be great to have on a morning after we have picked. We love coffee cake too. A nine inch pan is just the right size also. Do you grow your own berries?

Can't wait to make this coffee cake. I love blueberry muffins and coffee cake so this is sure to be a family favorite. I would prefer to bake something for breakfast versus getting restautant food.
