My five year old son is a very picky eater, and it is very difficult to get him to eat healthy foods. Since this is chocolaty peanut - buttery goodness, I think that this would be a great way to fool him. He might not go for the chia seed topping, so I might just blend them right in so they are harder to see. I can't wait to make this for him for a quick and healthy school - day breakfast!

My daughter loves recipes like these as she is a vegetarian. I have to say though, this one looks pretty good to me too. I have two questions, what is the Maca powder they are using in the recipe and does anyone else have trouble with frozen bananas in their blender? I can't seem to get the blender to work correctly when I put them in there. It gets stuck in the paddle blade.

Hi Sandi! If you leave the bananas out a little to thaw slightly before you put in them in the blender, they shouldn't get stuck in the paddle blade. Another thing you might try is cutting up the full banana into pieces before freezing so there's less to cut through :) As for the Maca powder, I would contact the blogger of this recipe directly on her site :)
