Country Apple Cake
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups chopped, peeled apples
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup coarsely chopped nuts
- 1 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 tsps vanilla
Instructions
Mix sugar, oil, eggs and vanilla. Stir together dry ingredients. Mix the wet and dry ingredients and then stir in nuts and apples. Place in 9 x 12 x 2 glass baking dish. Sprinkle top with cinnamon. Bake at 350 F for 25 to 40 minutes, until cake begins to pull away from the sides of the pan. Glaze with a simple glaze if desired.
