- 1 pinch salt
- 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, melted butter, eggs, salt, and vanilla. Gently stir in the peaches, and coconut until combined. Pour into the greased baking dish.

Bake the cake for 45 to 50 minutes, or until a knife or toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool the cake completely before frosting, about an hour or more.

In a large mixing bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the cream cheese, softened butter, vanilla, and salt. Whip until combined and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Slowly add in the powdered sugar until it reaches your desired consistency.

This cake recipe looks so good I can't wait try it! This would be a great dessert to make in a pinch with ingredients you'd have on hand anytime. You could probably make any different fruit flavour, I bet canned pears would be delicious too. Even though it would take longer, I'd like to try this with a cake made from scratch! This would make a nice summer dessert served with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

When I think of a Preacher cake or cookies, I think of something that's a no-bake recipe. This is a baked cake incorporating two foods I like, peaches and coconut. It's really easy to toss together (a hallmark of Preacher recipes) and it's a fairly quick bake. I'm sure I'm going to enjoy making and eating this peachy Preacher cake.
