Ingredients
- 2 cans buttermilk biscuits
- 1 can crushed pineapple in syrup, undrained
- 1 stick butter
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- walnuts, chopped (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

In sauce pan mix together butter, brown sugar, corn syrup, water and cinnamon. Bring to a boil and let boil 5 minutes.

Cut biscuits into quarters. Carefully drop them into the hot mixture one at a time, stirring occasionally.

Add pineapple and nuts.
- Pour into a well-greased bundt pan. Bake for 25 to 35 minutes, or until brown and bubbly. Turn onto plate.

I do not like canned biscuits, they are like hardtack. Almost as easy, stir up a Bisquick dough with a little added salt and melted butter. Drop by teaspoonful into the pineapple syrup and go from there. I prefer chopped pecans.
