    Ingredients

    • 12 ounces butterscotch chips
    • 1 cup peanuts
    • 2 cups chow mein noodles

    Instructions

    Melt butterscotch chips in a double boiler or in a microwave. If using a microwave, place chips in a 2 quart microwaveable bowl, cover, and cook 2 minutes on high. Remove from microwave, stir until smooth. Stir in peanuts and chow mein noodles. Drop by teaspoonful onto waxed paper. Let cool before eating. Store in an airtight container. If desired, use 6 oz. chocolate chips and 6 oz. butterscotch chips instead of straight butterscotch.
