Crescent Roll Bread Pudding
Using canned crescent rolls to make it extra flaky and super easy, Crescent Roll Bread Pudding is a great alternative to a classic dessert casserole recipe. Ingredients
- 1 large stale butter crescent cut to 2 lengthwise
- 4 eggs
- 2/3 cup cooking cream (half and half)
- 2 tablespoons orange juice
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 cup mixed white and dark chocolate chips
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Place half of the crescent into personal large ramekin or any other oven safe dish and the second half into another one.

In the bowl mix eggs, cooking cream (half and half), orange juice, sugar, orange zest and vanilla.

Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.

Cover the crescents with the mixture and let it soak up the mixture for 20 minutes.

Pop to preheated oven for 20 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.

This is a quick and easy recipe for bread pudding made in individual servings. I would use fat free half and half, and only dark chocolate chips. To have enough dessert for the entire family, the recipe should be doubled or tripled.
