I like to eat shepherd's pie, and would like to try this recipe, even though I have never made one. For this recipe, I would use 2 pounds of lean ground beef, and omit the prosciutto. After browning the meat, I would drain the excess fat before adding the other ingredients. I would use reduced sodium Worcestershire sauce and reduced fat cheddar cheese in this recipe.
