This looks like a really good, quick recipe for my family which includes husband, son and toddler granddaughter. It's really busy for the meal time when she is here and it's great to have quick assembly meals. I usually have most of these ingredients on hand too. I think I'd use the powdered mix we normally have for biscuits too. I'd probably have to double the recipe though. Saves on pie dough making time for sure.

How can you go wrong? I mean, this recipe is so simple and easy to use up leftovers from the night before. We often have a few chicken breasts left from Lemon Pepper Chicken that should go really well in this recipe. I can see making this often in our home.

This recipe is quick and simple and perfect for nights when you are short on time. I do prefer to make things from scratch, so you could use a homemade cream soup mix (recipe can be found on this site!) and maybe some homemade biscuits (made earlier and frozen). This way it could still be quick meal but alot healthier. I would probably also use fresh veggies instead of frozen, but either way this is a great, quick alternative to chicken pot pie!

My email calls this It's All Good With Gwyneth Paltrow. Not to say that she never uses shortcuts, but this is full of processed food and she touts herself as being really healthy. Cream soup and canned vegetables are not what I would call healthy. I love chicken pot pie and if you are into shortcuts, this will work for you.
